A geographically diverse country, hunting can take place in mountains, desert and bushveld terrain. Well served by an excellent transportation network, a hunt in South Africa can move to several areas for different animals with relative ease. The best place for nyala, it is also home to exceptional kudu, waterbuck, bushbuck, impala and warthog -- the list is quite large. All of my outfitters hunt very large hunting areas and some free range hunting is available.

Limpopo and KwaZulu/Natal

The primary hunting area is in KwaZulu/Natal but lodges are also available in the Limpopo Province. The luxury cottages in Natal are located on beautifully kept grounds and convenient to many scenic areas. With all of the amenities and the ability to cater to physically challenged hunters, all animals found in South Africa can be hunted with this outfitter. He has exclusive hunting rights on the Mkhuzi Game Preserve known for its exceptional nyala and other plains game. Dangerous game can also be hunted to include darted rhino.

Eastern Cape Province

This enormous ranch (over 80,000 contiguous acres) is located just 45 minutes north of Port Elizabeth. The lodge is a converted large ranch home with swimming pool and tennis court. Its location also offers many activities for the non-hunter to include Addo Elephant National Park, beachfront condos, tribal vilages, etc. You have the option of combining this hunt with hunting in the nearby mountains from a lovely ranch home with scenic views and free range hunting for vaal rhebuck, mountain reedbuck, bushbuck, etc.

These packages are all inclusive except for airfare, tips and trophy dipping/crating/shipment (some include dipping/packing). They can also be great husband/wife or parent/child hunts as generally the wife/child can hunt as well. Family packages can easily be arranged and combined with an excursion for a "hunting vacation". Other species are available for the trophy fee.
