'Specializing in quality, affordable Safaris'

ACCOMMODATIONS

Hunting in Africa is not like anywhere else for many reasons but two are the quality of accommodations and service. I have stayed in tents, lodges, chalets, etc. and while they all have varied in luxury all were very comfortable. This is not hunting from a spike camp in the mountains in a small wet tent, sleeping in a sleeping bag and eating freeze dried food. You will sleep on a bed, have 3 great meals a day, have laundry done daily, and have full bath facilities. Within reason, if you want it, ask for it, and they will do their best to get it. All listed fares include full room and board and generally alcoholic beverages in moderation. I have had good safaris and great ones but never have I had anything but exceptional service while on an African safari. Your spouse will love it and so will you!

Argentina is equally well known for its quality of service and accommodations ~ not to mention great food. Patagonia has numerous options for the non-hunting companion. The bird hunting areas are remote but have excellent accommodations with swimming pool and jaccuzi. Horseback rides and game viewing trips are available in each area. An excursion for a couple of days to Buenos Aires for shopping, etc is well worth while.

EXCURSIONS

Africa offers some beautiful vacation destinations other than hunting safaris. These can be easily arranged and are highly recommended for husbands and wives/families going over. A nice break after the long flight is to take a couple of days off prior to the safari and tour Cape Town or visit Kruger National Park. This is a great way to recover from jet lag while having a wonderful time. In Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls is a must see; Hwankie Park and Lake Kariba are unique. Namibia has Etosha Park and the Skeleton Coast.

Photographic Safaris can be custom designed for your party should you desire not to hunt or add it as an excursion. These safaris utilize professional guides so you are not confined to a vehicle but can get out and walk throughout the parks. We limit the group size to 2-6 and don't mix groups. Larger groups can be accommodated via an affiliate travel company. Cultural excursions can be added to these safaris so that you can experience how the locals live. These safaris are conducted in Zimbabwe, South Africa, Botswana and Namibia.

Fishing trips can be added to many safaris and can be either fresh or salt water. Salt water fishing is available in Namibia (boat and surf) and the East Cape of South Africa. Freshwater fishing for the incomparable tiger fish and others is available in Zimbabwe. Accommodations can be either lodge or even more interesting------houseboats on Lake Kariba. Houseboats make a great accommodation for photographic safaris as many animals and birds frequent the lake shore. Basic rates are comparable to the daily rates for plains game.
